Mr. Bean is the CEO of Global Recovery Group.  Since 1994 he has been a principal of the Washington D.C. law firm of Fensterheim and Bean, PC, which is a managing member of Global Recovery Group. 

Mr. Bean has practiced law since 1982 in the areas of real estate and distressed real estate and financial assets.  He served as general counsel to a national trade association for asset management firms involved in the liquidation of assets for the FDIC and the Resolution Trust Corporation.  From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Bean was Director of Real Estate for the RTC Oversight Board, where he advised a board chaired by the Secretary of the Treasury and including the Chairman of the Federal Reserve System and Secretary of HUD, on policy relating to the disposition of real estate assets by the Resolution Trust Corporation.

Mr. Bean has a JD (1982), MBA (1982) and BA (Honors, 1979) from the University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois.
